Lattice Fold

This is a cut paper technique which works best with duo paper.  This comes in various combinations – the most basic being pearl finished paper – one colour on one side another on the reverse.  A strip of paper is cut and folded length wise.  The folded edge of the paper is lined up with the edge of the design on the Lattice Fold Template.  Each line is drawn through using a pencil.  The template is removed and the lines are cut accurately – from the fold side through both layers.  The paper is opened up and the cut ‘V’ shapes are folded down and caught in place under the ‘V’ shapes they lay on top of.
The finished border design – is ideal for adding a finishing touch to men’s cards, and also works well if a small image needs ‘something else’ to look finished.
